Coincidences, synchronicity and odd things in general are frequent occurrences in my life. I consider them to be kinda like street signs from the Universe letting me know where to go and that I am on the most optimal path for me. In the world of odd things, this one is a goodie, though it took me a couple of days to get it.
A few days ago the background on my computer screen seemed to change itself from this
I didn't think much about it because I was busy and just figured that I had accidentally clicked on something that I didn't mean to click. Truth is, I am pretty dang computer savvy and the notion that I had clicked on something I didn't mean to click on is seriously unlikely.
It wasn't until this morning that when I looked at my computer again the light-bulb above my head went on and I started to put the stepping stones together.
In Helen’s Self-Invest class last week we had an assignment to choose one relationship in our life that we want to improve. To my delight, try as I may, I could only come up with one relationship that I truly thought could use some work -- my relationship with myself.
Then yesterday on a Skype call with my dear friend Phil, who is also a LifeCoach, I made these notes about how I can improve my thoughts about myself:
- Am I living in my heart with myself?
- Put some love on it (my thoughts mostly).
- Am I “in love” with me? Like do I submerge myself in love, not in-love romantically?
- 60 days of doing everything with loving gratitude (especially for and with myself).
- Allow myself a safety net of love to catch me when I fall.
Sweet Spirit is talking to me!!! I have historically asked God to be LOUD, and obvious -- like neon blinking light obvious. Hmmmmm how about changing the background on my computer? Yup I hear ya God. Time for me to love myself as much as I love everyone else, even more than I do already. Time to crank up the volume on self-love all the way to high. Thanks. I’m on it!
