I have a very important Public Service Announcement:
Love often requires us to feel uncomfortable.
It seems, somewhere along the line, that we have been duped into a belief that feeling uncomfortable is bad, wrong, unhealthy, and to be avoided at all costs. Let me be specific here. I am speaking about emotional discomfort. We have grasped the fact that we must push our bodies beyond the comfort zone to achieve the physical results we want; that loving our bodies does not mean only doing what feels good.
Most of us have not grasped the fact that emotion growth requires the same formula. If you want change of any kind, get comfortable being uncomfortable.
I love you!
